Bali Indonesia 2017

Hello bloggers and faithful readers,

I have been meaning to post this up since I got back from Bali and Europe, however I didn't have much time as I was sorting things out due to what had happened which I will tell you in a bit. I was in Indonesia for about a week and went to Kuta, Bali and as well as Gili Trawangan. So let's get started shall we?

HOW TO GET TO BALI;
The only way from Malaysia to Bali is flying therefore I've managed to get some really good deals off Air Asia.

Return for RM 550

HOW TO  GET TO GILI;
There are many tour desk around in Kuta that could bring you all the way to Gili (Air, Trawangan or Meno). Price range up to RUPIAH 2mil. Cheaper = Slower. We got the mid range which was actually perfect.

RUP3mil return Kuta-Gili Trawangan.
Most of the time they fetch you from your hotel/hostel door step and you are own your way!

WHERE TO STAY;
KUTA; Know your mission in Kuta, if you plan on partying like I did, we stayed right next to Sky Garden (party place) called

J4 Legian Hotel.
Its a nice 4-star hotel but with an affordable price I would say. About RUP9mil for 3days and you can share the room with another friend. So I guess its pretty decent. Breakfast for additional RUP600K. Breakfast is great. Choice of food are fairly good and the pool is great! Worth the money.

Otherwise if you have no idea what you want, its best to stay at LEGIAN street. All the pubs, cafe, shop are at the street.

GILI TRAWANGAN;
If you are more of the hustle and bustle, you would like to stay at the main street of Gili. If not you can always rent a bicycle and stay further up from the centre like I did.
Stayed in a small place called Small But Strong Lumbung. Host is amazing and they serve breakfast too for 4days only for RUP3Mil

WHAT TO DO;
KUTA

• Shop
• Enjoy the ambience cafe
• Learn how to surf in Kuta beach (personally I think its only worth it if you stay longer than 3 days in Kuta, because one lesson cant teach you much)
• Chill by the beach
• Party in Sky Garden (Its a big complex that serves a all-you-can-eat and drink everyday and a club past 11pm)
• Enjoy the night life

GILI TRAWANGAN

• Scuba Dive with Manta Dive school (They are amazing and its worth it, atleast 2 dives)
• Enjoy the beach
• If you are not a scuba junkie, go snorkelling.
  (Beware that there are so many people in a group, everyone wants to see a turtle and kicking in your face is a common thing. No offence, especially of those who cant really swim. :( )
• Go snorkelling because at least they made up to you by taking you to all 3 Gili's and lunch at Gili Air is definitely worth a kick on the face. Gili Air is AMAZING
• Free diving
• Cycle
• Eat seafood
• Enjoy the chill lifestyle
• Shisha if you'd like
• Live for the moment

WHAT NOT TO DO IN BALI/GILI;

• DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT USE their ATM because SCAM and DUPS of ATM is so common in Indonesia.
• My travels have so far been great until when I was on the train to London (this wass a week after Bali) that someone DUPLICATED my card and withdraw ALL (I mean ALL) my money from my bank acc.
• So change enough Rupiah to last you for your whole trip
• DO NOT get scam by taxi drivers or anyone in general
• Leave your things unattended

I guess on every trip I have been, I said I have learnt more about myself and the experience was great, I guess I say it again, THANK YOU Indonesia for teaching me to adult even more than I already am and that some times some things are out of my control.

Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand

Hello my lovely blogers and readers. Yes this is a long overdue post that has to go up. I am so sorry for not posting in a long while as this semester is a real hectic one. I am on my study week now and finally got the chance to travel and some time to write about it. So here goes.

I have decided to travel again to Krabi but this time to Ao Nang. It is a very pretty town and full of life. I love it.

How to get there;
We decide to go by mini van which brings us from PENANG-HATYAI-KRABI and KRABI-HATYAI-PENANG. Both ways with about THB1800/RM180. Its not the best option but its a road trip, backpack for sure! *Try book a flight if you have car sick*

Where to stay:
SLUMBER PARTY HOSTEL AND BAR. There are two Slumber Party Hostel in Ao Nang, the one in the beach and the one off beach.
My friend and I stayed off beach, but its only 15-20minutes by foot to get to the beach and Ao Nang civilization. This hostel is so much fun!
They offer free BBQ dinner and breakfast, pretty awesome drinks and even party all night, every night.
So if you are not looking forward to party, dont stay here.
It is also very very clean, with a cubic style beds and the staff are super friendly.
A night per bed would cost about RM50/THB500.

What to bring;
-Light clothes
-Good slippers
-Good liver (drinks are so cheap you have to drink)
-Beach wear/supplies
-Your crazy self
-Stamina to last you the whole night partying

What to do;
AM: 
- Have breakfast in Cafe 8, serves one of the best breakfast
- Walk to the beach, tan yourself
- Go on an Island trip (We took the tour from Slumber Party Hostel and did almost everything from snorkelling to jumping into the sea)
-Eat ice cream (Movenpick is a good one)
-Get manicure and pedicure done
-Get a massage
-Walk about the streets
-Shop

PM;
-Have dinner in Jenna's if you fancy a fancy dinner
-Have dinner at a local restaurant (they serve the best pad thai)
-Party in Slumber Party Hostel (They are wild)
-Head to Chang Bar/ Disappointment Street for more fun and more parties
-Walk about the night market for shopping
-Take beautiful pictures
- Enjoy the beautiful lights of Ao Nang at night.

Ao Nang is party and solitude as well.
So if you have the time, pack your bags and head off somewhere.
It might change you or even so you might just find yourself <3

That Night

The day I saw "him" and at first sight I thought to myself of how good looking he is. Then I start talking to him and realize what a amazing person he is. Our conversation are usually brief but very meaningful and nice. I grew fond of him each passing day.

With him, everything was nice. He made me laugh, he told me his dreams, he told me his passion. He remembers every word I said from our previous conversations. He plays and goof around and never fail to put a smile on my face.

My first heart racing moment with him was when I fixed his tie, playing "thumb" game and taking pictures with him. He had me at hello, since the first time we met but I guess I never was any part of his.

That night, I will always remember, when in my head I pretend as if he was mine, start a conversation with him, let him hold my hands, let him take pictures with me and hug him. That night, I imagine what it would be like to be really his and to dance with him. That night he made me fall in love.

The funny thing is, I fell in love, with the guy who didn't fell for me. Who treat me nice and acknowledge every hug and conversation because he knew I liked him, he knew I was falling for him. That's why every conversation with him was brief, because he knew that the longer it is, the harder I would fall for him and he knew he will never in his life feels the same way.

But I like to keep every single memory I had with him, so that I can tell myself, this was the love of my life. I never felt like this before for anyone, I wonder why and I asked God why. Why did I feel so much, when he never did and never will.

That night, I promise to make the best memory I can with him. That night I knew, I gave my heart away once again.

And that night I knew, I will never be his.
