The day i travel to Kuala Lumpur to meet up with my two best friends Andrea and Beverly. My first day in Kuala Lumpur was a great one as i am able to witness a university environment. So much different from high school and college. People are so much different not just in size and style but also in personality and mind set.

I enjoy the big crowd of different people and personalities. I learn to accept and enjoy the little in life.

The day Beverly arrived Kuala Lumpur. Had Subway for breakfast and working hard cleaning the auditorium and taking a cab to Citittel  Mid Valley. Had an awesome afternoon watching life of pi with Andrea and eating at Pasta ZanMai

Dinner in Nando's with Beverly and having a good laugh at a long line in Carrefour :) Talking and catching up all night long. :)

Went of to Bukit Bintang and shop around Pavillion and Lot 10 and KLCC. Walk and walk and walk. Bought Andrea's Christmas present and ate at little wok. :) Went to Kinokuniya and H&M and boost juice and shopping!! :)

Took the KTM and monorail to KL Sentral and Mid Valley. Took a 2 hour rest and back on shopping and dinner and dessert and movies. Had so much fun!!

 20 DEC 2012

Last day and had a good breakfast with Andrea and Beverly. Had a great lunch with Angel and shopping. Dreadful day because then i realize my flight back was an open ticket and i am on a standby list! Didn't get to go back today as i didn't get the last flight back! Had to stay overnight in KLIA and trying hard not to fall asleep. :( Had Andrea over the airport for company.

Waking up feeling like a zombie. Lack of sleep and couldn't eat breakfast. Good news got the FIRST flight back!!! :) Went home and slept the whole day!

Uncle Gordon,
This blog is specially for you. When i was 8, i first met you when you came from England. I was so shy that i didnt dare to talk to you. As time flies, i remember being close with you, swimming together. We were apart then for years because of matter that dont matter actually. Back in 2010 are those fondest time we've ever had with each other. I'll always remember the time you put me to bed because i was sick, the times you taught me to ride a bicycle and the time you tell me all about your battlefield stories. I'll always treasure the time we spent in that 6 months. I hope you remember that to.

This day, 24 July 2012. you came back to Labuan and Kota Kinabalu. We met for 3 days and spent alot of time eating and talking. I'll treasure the time when you said to me, "I'll treasure these moments forever". The fact that you thought i didnt knew what was going on and the fact you hold my hand and smoothed my hair when you looked at me with no words to say because you thought i didnt know things are not okay. I hope you remember that to.

Uncle, i hope when you read this someday, somewhere and somehow, i hope you'll remember me. I hope you remember me as your "daughter" and remember all the times we had together. I never had the guts to say it to you but I LOVE YOU. You are my second papa who understands and read me so well. I pray that when you read this you'll know who i am.

Be it far or near, remember or forgets, i pray and hope someday, somehow you'll remember that I LOVE YOU.

BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

Hey hey bloggers,

Yep BRUNEI DARUSSALAM! Been to this lovely country recently for a International school exchange program for three days. To be honest i wasn't really excited for this trip AT ALL. Upon arriving , i wasn't even interested about the places around me. Home sick i guess that's what they say.

Back to the story, we were headed from Muara to a   beautiful school called Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah (MDPMAMBT). Its a huge school with the amount of 1000+ students ad 100+ teachers. They are all really nice and friendly people. First impression they say is the most important. I totally agree with that because i liked the school instantly. We were also join with students from Singapore (Millenia Institute of Singapore). Singapore students are fairly nice people and very pretty too :)

Upon arriving we were served with delicious food and were given our own respective rooms. :) 3 person in a  room. Which is fairly good for me because we get to pick who we would want to share it with. Soon after, MDPMAMBT head student council teacher, Pn.Faridah brought us out to the University Brunei Darussalam. The campus was huge and we were privilege enough to be able to visit the university's library. Which i find it highly interesting. At night we got to go around Bandar Seri Begawan, pasar malam, Istana and Jerudong Park.

Yesterday, we spent almost all day at MDPMAMBT for Bahasa Melayu week and touring around the campus. Later in the evening we got to go shopping in The Mall opposite MDPMAMBT campus. Walking distance. ;) I bought tee-shirts and engraving medals for friends and family. At night, we have cultural exchange performances between Brunei-Malaysia-Singapore. It was a blast. I got to make new friends and even meet some old Brunei friends and it was hard to say goodbye. We then plan to sleep late because we sneak to the common room to play the 'concentration game' aka Truth or Dare ;P. I miss them all already.

Today, we got one last chance to eat at MDPMAMBT dining hall with all the students and then head off to Muara, the Jetty and off on board the ferry back to Labuan. This whole trip basically made me feel so welcome and i had a lot of fun. People with different back grounds and culture but we all speak one language, i am suppose to say it BM but that would be a lie. We all speak ENGLISH :) and tinnie bittie BM. One thing for sure, Brunei looove their food. :) yummy rendang, nasi lemak, chicken curry, sweet and sour fish and yummy.

Thank you God basically for everything and for the school for giving us this opportunity of a life time. :) On thing for sure, a good day is how you make it. As a saying goes, A small SMILE make a BIG difference. Happy Holidays people.
